Nomination & Enrollment Guidelines

  1. Enrollment is limited to residents beginning their PGY5 year on July 1, 2019. No exceptions.
  2. Resident must currently be a Junior Member of the Child Neurology Society. No exceptions.
  3. Each training program may initially nominate one PGY5 resident to attend with full benefits to include:
    1. CNS Annual Meeting registration fee waiver
    2. Three room nights at the Westin Charlotte Hotel (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
    3. Eligibility for one of two Pellock Fellowships (to include 2020 CNS and AES membership dues waiver, registration fee waiver for 2020 AES Annual Meeting, enrollment in AES leadership programming, and a signed copy of Inherited Metabolic Epilepsies by Phillip Pearl, MD)
  4. Deadline for nominating first PGY5/6 resident from program (guaranteed enrollment): April 30, 2019.
  5. Notification of acceptance and instructions for CNS Meeting and Pellock Seminar registration will be issued to resident and training program coordinator and/or director on or before May 15.
  6. Beginning June 1, program directors may nominate a second and third resident from their program to attend, with resident or program assuming all expenses (ie, without benefits outlined in #3 above). Enrollment is contingent upon space availability and is not guaranteed. Notification of acceptance will be sent to additional residents on July 1.
