GUIDELINES FOR NOMINATING CANDIDATES FOR ACNN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Nomination Guidelines (May 18, 2017 - June 19, 2017)

1. Nominees and nominators must be Active Members of the Association of Child Neurology Nurses

2. Nominees must be willing to:

• Serve a two-year term beginning Tuesday, October 3, 2017 and ending on final Friday of 2019 ACNN Annual Conference (October 25, 2019)
• Participate in monthly BOD conference calls every third Tuesday of each month
• Attend the ACNN annual BOD meeting in conjunction with the ACNN Annual Conference
• Confer with and serve as board liaison for one or more ACNN committees

3. Members may nominate themselves

4. Nominations must include a brief statement outlining the nominee’s qualifications (350 words).

5. Deadline for submitting nominations: June 19, 2017

6. Nominating Committee: Tara Pezzuto (Chair), Marian Kolodgie and Kathy O’Hara

Election Timeline:

1. The ACNN Nominating Committee will select a slate of no more than two final candidates for each office.

2. The slate of candidates will be announced on or before June 26

3. On-line voting will be conducted June 26 - July 10
